Cabinet:Novus aims to transmit current issues into performance, creative projects, and prefers to produce work in its field that tries out, thinks through, pushes boundaries and searches for the new. Combining elements of popular culture with elements outside of popular culture, Cabinet:Novus emphasizes the search for the political and what needs to be said. The aim is to make the topics dealt with more visible and clear, as well as to promote their production and make them accessible to an international audience.

Cabinet:Novus tries to discover new methods, artistic languages, means of expression as well as new themes for the performing arts.

Cabinet:Novus produces works based on new words, discourses and stagings, analyzes existing works, follows productions and goes in search of a current voice for the theater of the 21st century.

Cabinet:Novus emphasizes experimentalism in relation to new staging techniques and intends to reposition the audience in each piece, discover new performance spaces, develop pieces in public spaces, and transform the structure for the audience's view.

Cabinet:Novus develops texts and stagings that deal, for example, with the reality of life of minorities. The artistic interest is to work on current politically relevant topics in the theater, to show them to an audience, and to let suggestions, discussions and conversations arise about them.

Cabinet:Novus attaches importance to discussing about changing the structure, experimenting new staging techniques and focusing on the content.
